The Web-based Career Stream Assessment System (WBCSAS) is the scientific way to know your right career stream for class 11th.
The first most important decision which a child would take in his career is the choice of career stream in which he would further pursue a career. The career Stream Assessment Test comprises 68 different questions regarding your personality, interests, and aptitude. The career stream test is scientifically proved that undergone extensive validity and reliability testing which shows that this test is consistent over time. This test gives you the right career stream that you should opt. The Career Stream Report(CSR) is immediately seen after completion of the test. CSR will help you to discover a right career stream as well as give information about your personality Type, interests in different activities and Aptitude in various skills. This CSR will identify best career stream for class 11 by personality, Interests, and Aptitude. This system
will fulfill the needs of the children regarding their stream selection and reduce the parental stress for their ward's stream selection after class 10th. This system will also be helpful for the school by allotting the RIGHT stream to individuals who will upgrade their school academic performance.
Functionality of WCSAS pages and Links
1.Home
When the user types the web address in the browser, the main page of the application is displayed. The home page of the WBCSAS website has various Options like Register, Login, about us, Contact Us, how it Works, and My Account, etc.
2.About us
By clicking on this option, user can get information about the Web-based Career Stream Assessment System as objective of the system, functionalities of system’s web pages and its links, and utilities of the system
3. How it Works
By clicking on this option, the users will get the information about the system’s working like how the system works and what facilities the system provides to the users.
4.Contact us
The user can see the site admin contact details by clicking on the Contact Us option. This page will have the contact details of complete address, phone no and Email ids.
5. Take The Test: Any user can take a free test by clicking on Take The Test link, CAREER STREAM DOOR, Discover your Career Stream, and? Science, Commerce or Humanities. The users need to register before taking the test.
6. Registration: The user is asked to fill his member type, name, email, password, city, and country to register himself. The user can register by clicking on Register option, Create an account.
7. Login: The registered user can log in to the system by entering email and password.
8.Discover your career stream: Users have to go through the career stream assessment test by registration or login to the system. This test is free for the users.
9. Career Stream Report(CSR): The User will get the Career Stream Report(CSR) immediately after the career stream test. This Report will declare career stream for class 11 as well as give information about user’s Personality, Interests, and Aptitude.
10.My Account: The user can link to his account information page by clicking on My Account option. This page will have the following links.
â— View Account: The user can view his account information like full name, city, country,
Email and Password.
â— Edit Account: The user can update his account information like full name, city, country.
â— Career Stream Report: The user can get his CSR based on the Career Stream Test.
â—Change Password: The user can change his password by entering his old password,
new password and by confirming password.
â—Logout: The user can log out by clicking on logout option.
11. Find Career Information: All users can search the career in different streams like Science, Commerce, and Humanities. Users can find the career by clicking on What to do, after class 10 and Career. Users can find different streams career information by choosing an option from the drop-down menu and by clicking on search button.
12.Forgot Password: In case, user forgot his password or wants to login to the system then the user can get his password again by clicking on Forgot Password link.
